Thunder Punch Daily 105 – It’s Natural, Not a Syndrome!

Today I share some thoughts from the car as I wrestle with a comment reportedly made by a well-known comics personality on the “Manga Syndrome” and beginning artists who ape the style of others. I get a little angry in this one as I talk about why I think we should talk about what works communicate rather than focusing on their style or intended audience.

Thunder Punch Special 01 – Netiquette Punch

It’s a new show for the Art & Story Supreme Service–the Thunder Punch Special, where I will occasionally sit down with a guest for a longer discussion on topics I like to bring to TPD!

This time I’m joined by Kasey Van Hise for a talk on Netiquette and the pitfalls facing a cartoonist trying to find their niche through social media and web presence. We close with a few of our personal pet peeves or netiquette faux pas, with the caveat we threw out at the top–you attract the followers and constituency that you asked for.
