Ignite Chelsea Presentation: The 21st Century Cartoonist

On February 11, 2011 I spoke at Ignite Chelsea on the role of the 21st Century Cartoonist. During my talk I make my case for how comics are still widely misunderstood and why we need to deepen the public’s appreciation for our beloved medium. Internet access and sharing have mitigated the problem somewhat, but I finish off my talk with a call to action for cartoonists to go local in their advocacy.

The talk was recorded on video, but while we wait for that to go live, I’ve put together an enhanced podcast of the 5-minute presentation for your review. If you listen to the talk in iTunes or on an mp3 player, you will see the album artwork change to correspond to the presentation’s slides.
