GREAT EVENT! …tried a mini "comic Jam" on the kids before bed time when I got home.  They loved it and dove right in, giggling and laughing at their own jokes and putting them to the page with none of the usual need to erase and correct lines…they were more eager to draw and less critical of the sketch. …the story was primary and the sketches just flowed out!  They had more focus and drew more as they laughed at their own jokes. It was a great lesson for all of us! Thanks!

So good to hear, +John Bleau. The big idea behind Jam Comics, at least for me, is to throw off inhibition and get folks writing with pictures. We all doodle, but so few of us think of that as actually writing. A Jam Comic is a fun way to remind ourselves that this visual communication stuff should be engaged with in the spirit of play.
