Drawing for Myself – Rainbow Brite

Today’s warm-up sketch concerns itself with one of my favorite girls’ cartoons from the 1980s!

Maybe a little more energetic than we might be used to seeing her, but I thought it was fun. Would’ve put Twink in there, but I didn’t want to cover up the pose.

And yes, maybe I should’ve colored it. I can always color it later, I suppose!

For those who haven’t seen the show, this was made when DiC was at the height of their prowess, so the animation is pretty good. And it featured top shelf VO talents like Peter Cullen!
