Drawing for Myself – Gaelin and Max Re-Imagined

Cranking through the re-imaginings of characters from The Front: Rebirth! This is actually turning out to be an interesting exercise in character design. I’m looking at characters I designed about 10 years ago (more like 20 if you count the comics I made in high school) and asking how I’d handle them differently today. I’m learning a lot about how my sensibilities have changed as an illustrator.

But enough navel-gazing! Here are Max and Gaelin:
