Drawing for Myself – Inferno

Today’s warm-up sketch was inspired by the fact that I was listening to Beast Wars while I was working yesterday.

It’s safe to say that I love each and every character in that series, but Inferno definitely ranks pretty high in my list of favorite characters. Because of a glitch that either came out of a reprogramming error or because of the beast mode he selected, he thinks Megatron is the queen ant of his “colony”. It’s adorable to see this terrifying berserker soldier always bow and say “Yes, my Queen” after receiving an order from his leader.
