The problems with calling comics creators "authors" and "illustrators."
As comics find wider acceptance in book stores and the realm previously reserved for literature, the medium once again finds itself encountering nomenclature fiction. "Author" may sound impressive, but it can misrepresent the collaborative nature of comics creation.
